She embarked on her adventure with Cloud 9 after experiencing the industry and seeing a need for more mentorship from artists directly.
"As an artist, when I hire someone onto my team, I not only look for someone who understands the industry but someone who cares and understands what the artist goes through mentally just to be where they are today. I work with each of my artists as partners and want to see them succeed and create that same impact that I've been able to create for for my listeners, fans, friends, and family.""
Coulter and Cloud 9 moved to Nashville TN in February 2019.
Founder & CEO
Kevin Coulter has coached hundreds of people over the past decade in the area of goal setting and attainment. He has coached anywhere from singers and songwriters, to lawyers, doctors and senior executives.
Coulter's approach is based on a process that's been proven to not only focus on a persons habits and successes but also their fears and failures. In the music industry, and as a performer/artist specifically, the goal is to not only meet or exceed what the goal setting is, but to also focus on establishing who they are as a performer, songwriter, etc. This establishes consistent engagement models that build trust with your audience, lyrics, and network within the industry.
Aside from coaching, Coulter has been playing guitar for over 40 years. His very first guitar memory is from his father, who used to play exclusively by ear.
Guitar has been in and out of Coulter's life ever since. Over the past 15 years, he has been playing consistently with "Basement" and "Garage" Bands. Over the past 6 years, he been playing semi-professionally playing for crowds in the hundreds.
Growing up Coulter looked up to musicians and artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Neal Schon, Randy Rhodes, and later, Stevie Ray Vaughn, BB King, and Donnie Van Zant.
Over the past 15 years, Coulter has been taking his knowledge and understanding of the instrument to a whole new level. He has realized that he has a musical ability and talent, it was just hidden under his yearning to learn. Through this he has learned patience, perseverance, and goal setting.
His commitment to his students, it to understand how they can be their own Myth, discover their own talents, extend the talents they have, and setup up their life to be successful with their musical goals.
